Abstract

This project is to explore the feasibility of designing and building an AR application to improve cognitive and motor function (dual-task) in People with Multiple Sclerosis. The app will incorporate biosensors to detect user responses and machine learning to adjust to AR accordingly.

This project is to explore the feasibility of designing and building an AR application to improve cognitive and motor function (dual-task) in People with Multiple Sclerosis. The app will incorporate biosensors to detect user responses and machine learning to adjust to AR accordingly.

This is part of a research project to explore the feasibility of AR as a tool to help People with Multiple Sclerosis to improve their everyday lives. The tool incorporates a feedback loop where the biosensor data is interpreted by a Machine Learning model and updates the adaptive AR application.

Technologies to be used: Unity Game Engine (C#) or similar, with Augment Reality libraries, e.g. Vuforia. Biosensors will be mainly GSR and HR. Machine Learning model can be designed or existing one employed.
